Thanks for sharing...I? had my LASIK surgery January of this year and always wondered how it looked. I was literally in surgery for 5minutes.
By: CalKiteboarderkid. on 20 May 12, 03:12:00
Its scarier to watch than to have it done to you. Somehow when you're on the receiving side its not a big deal.?
By: CalKiteboarderkid. on 20 May 12, 03:10:40
If it is LASIK, I entered the clinic at noon, and left at 3pm, but a lot of that was re-testing before surgery, and 1 hour post op to check everything was fine before leaving.? The actual time to start-finish was probably 20 minutes (giving me a Valium, sign this and that), the actual laser part was 5 minutes, prep and post, the laser firing was 10-12 seconds or something. After the laser was perhaps 2 minutes of cleanup. This was just 24 hrs ago, today like nothing happened. (Except nice vision

hey, I'm glad you've solved your problem, I'm in a bad case too and I'm thinking about a surgery. As you have experience of the modern technics, I would be pleased if you told me what it cost and how much time did? it take. How simple was the surgery? thanks Cal

I HATE wearing glasses and contacts I wanna be able to see without needing glasses and contact but if I have to go through what looks? like a painful procedure then never mind. Ugh I didn't need glasses til 3rd grade >.

Had the same thing done. Just took a couple of minutes. Only discomfort was when they press down on the eye for the cut, which was done by laser rather than knife. Next day perfect vision. back to work the day after with slight discomfort for a few days that felt like you had been out in the wind for a few hours. I had monovision, 1 eye for distance and 1 for? reading and that works perfectly for me. I am in my late 50's and can see as fine as the pores on my hands and the eye of a needle.
