Wow. This is dangerous advice. Please read "Good Calories, Bad Calories" to learn about insulin resistance. Just because people have similar levels of insulin in their blood does NOT mean it is being processed the? same way by their bodies. "Calories in versus calories out produces determines how much weight a person gains or loses" is NOT scientific fact.

You are misinforming people with this. You also don't know much about this topic because if you did, you would know that the? Glycemic Load must also be considered as well as calories.
By: reptilianskin. on 10 Jun 11, 12:53:11
I agree that fruit is perfectly heathly regardly of GI Index. The vitamins, minerals, fiber, and low calories of these foods outweigh there position on the index. When you disect a low GI diet, the reason for weight low is low calories. Just be careful with the juices as most of the fiber is stripped away when all you have is the sweet drink. Those liquid calories are invisible to most because they? don't realize the extra empty calories of juice.

wow...your advice is amazing lol...not......just a bit of advice again from the good doctor, please dont go around misleading people about very important values like glycemia. It is important and there is a reason behind? monitoring your blood sugar levels even if your not suffering from a metabolic condition. Goes to show you why many body builders are the first people to suffer from long term metabolic disturbances....check it out

so its 18 teaspns of sugar or 18 tblspns of sugar?Anyways its about 360-720 cals? a days only from your tea and lets say u eat all day around 2-2.5K if u are a none working out man so u have to decrease your solid food cals to 1280-2140cals only because u have a bad habit i bet u smoke too...
By: Cloudforever99. on 05 Dec 10, 06:00:00
You just mentioned white bread, pasta, white rice, sugar in your tea, and snickers implying that they are foods that fill you first...they are all rated high ( the pasta depending ) on the? G. I. and and proven to make u feel hungry again shortly after digestion...The cal in vs. cal out is so basic and elementary, the premise is sound, but many more factors to consider....lol this guy has a good sales presence , but advice is dangerous to take my friends...just being honest

My pleasure. Thanks for your support! ?
By: hydrohobbyist. on 27 May 10, 10:27:19
One teaspoon of sugar is about 15 calories. 3 spoons x 15 cals = 45 cals a cup 6cup x 45 cals = 270 calories a day in sugar in your tea thats before milk 270cals is about same as Mars Bar / Small Meal. If you count this in your calorie consumption and? stick to your target youll be fine, your dentist may not be too happy tho... Dont be fooled by Honey as a sweetener either as its more calories and simpler sugar...Bears are only wild animals with tooth decay problems.
By: hydrohobbyist. on 27 May 10, 10:19:07
Steve, when you go against the grain you will always have haters like this, people always know better. Thats why you're sat there in great shape and they're telling? you how its done. People seem to want to believe infomercials and QVC first over hard evidence. Dont sweat it.
By: hydrohobbyist. on 27 May 10, 10:03:34
Steves advice is amazing. The shit that people spout about GI and Fructose and Sucrose...It really doesn't matter either way for weight loss. Just put? LESS calories in your mouth. Ive consistently lost 3-4lbs per week by eating anything i want just being careful HOW much i eat and drink...white bread, pasta, white rice, sugar in my tea, you name it, ive even had snickers, look for foods that fill you first over their taste and youll be fine. Steve thank you for your videos and podcast

fructose get? convert to triglyceride
By: CodertAZ. on 09 Aug 09, 03:11:02
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK Steve AGAIN, DEAD WRONG!!!!!! IT IS MEDICAL FACT!!!! OMG!!! YOU ADVISE PEOPLE WRONG! This needs to be pulled. What is a simple sugar? REFINED TABLE SUGAR or SUCROSE. An Apple is Complex sugar of FRUCTOSE. Table? sugar is used in tea or oatmeal. Check your blood sugar before eating each to get a base line, Eat, wait 15min for blood sugar to rise, then see how WRONG YOU ARE!!!! VERY BAD ADVISE STEVE! Watermelon, grapes & Bananas are the quickest way to but on weight!
By: maytiwar. on 19 Feb 09, 00:01:51
you are right aaronsmma... i dont know why is this guy so ignorant...steeve... all u have to do is to revise? the concepts about GI again... and then everything will make sense to u...
By: BodyPerformanceTV. on 11 Feb 09, 00:49:29
YES AND fructose has to be broken? down by the liver BEFORE absorption.
By: lordmufasa. on 10 Feb 09, 23:21:47
thats because fruit have alot? of fiber and that slows absorbtion
By: sinhaxx. on 10 Feb 09, 18:26:40

By: claudiocarvalho. on 10 Feb 09, 18:24:56

By: sinhaxx. on 10 Feb 09, 17:56:14

By: claudiocarvalho. on 31 Oct 08, 09:15:14
this is just stupid. calories in and out it is just thermodinamics... macronutrient rations will define if you will lose/gain? fat/muscle/water/etc (composition)
By: SinisterSkip. on 04 Oct 08, 13:26:23
Calories in, calories out, that's? what it's all about!
By: ziberteck. on 18 Mar 08, 07:12:22
science? isn't always reliable... some times they say things with no real proof just to get credit for something new.
By: ziberteck. on 18 Mar 08, 07:11:29
dude shut? up steve knows alot of shit if you know so much lets see you on the camera talking to people about fat loss.
By: waynebw. on 21 Feb 08, 08:47:07
Fruits are medium GI... not high GI. When you have? high GI foods (such as candy) without other foods, it does give your body a GI spike.. I believe too many ups and downs of these spikes (eg. eating candy all the time) is what causes diabetes.
By: basasbeeso. on 18 Feb 08, 06:39:54
True? say.
