Weight Loss advice: Getting married in 3 months, help!!!?

My fiancee and I set a date for our wedding and it’s 3 months away. I was on an anti-depressant which caused me to gain 45 pounds. I’m trying to shed as much of it as possible by the wedding. I’m 5’10" and I currently weigh 195. My usual weight is between 150-160 lbs and I’m comfortable with that.

I’m happy with a 20 lb weight loss, but my goal is 30 lbs. I know 10 lbs a month sounds crazy to some, but I’m willing to do the EXTREME.

Does anyone who has been in this situation have any advice? My fiancee says he doesn’t care how I look, but personally, I have been VERY fit all my life, even worked at a gym for 4 years, so I’m unhappy with my current weight and it poses a sadness to my wedding day to not at least be CLOSE to my regular weight and fitness level.

Please, any advice to drop as much weight in a healthy way as possible before the wedding would be appreciated.

I have a membership to a gym, which I use about 2-3 times a week, and I use the Wii Active program in between. I try to eat moderately, but have trouble with eating late at night….any advice to combat that bad habit is appreciated as well.

I lost 10 pounds a month (15 in the first month) by running 6-9 miles (not always consecutively) a day and reducing calories to 1000-1200 a day (however, I did not count any veggies or fruits toward my caloric intake). My diet had very little sugar and fat, mostly whole grains and protein. I did not drink any calories. If you intend to run that much, you’ll need to stretch a lot. I injured myself quite a bit because of this, but it did work! The weight melted off of me. Good luck!
