I’m obese and need weight loss advice?

OK so I am obese and I know that, but I am asking for weight loss advice. can you help??
I am 28 yrs old and I am 5’10” and my weight Is 294 pounds and this Isn’t a joke. I admit I am greedy and I do suffer from emotional eating.
I can never really keep my word about going to start a diet. I am always thinking about junk food, and I always want to eat. do you have advice? I always have excuses, as you can see.

Oatmeal, green tea, water, bananas, and cereal.
Eat in the morning not at night so you can burn what you eat during the day.
Get some excercise, any.
Stay away from potatoes, bread, rice, and sugar.
No fast food.
Try to eat smaller portions of food and drink some water before eating then you will feel full already.
Some of these people on here are very mean and cruel. Don’t listen to them. I hope this helps.

All it takes is hard work and dedication. Get yourself a gym membership and eat properly. Consider getting a personal trainer as they can provide you with specifics.

    Change your diet.
Start to exercise, go to the gym, start talking power walks, then latter advance to running.
Drink a lot of watter and healthy fluids. Nothing with a tone of sugar like soda.

I would speak with your doctor about the "I am always thinking about junk food, and I always want to eat." They can give you something that can help you not think about it all the time. I am overweight as well. What I am doing that really takes the weight off is Hip Hop Abs. Try different things to get you up and moving and when you feel like eating, drink a glass of water. That fills you up so you won’t want to eat. I am just letting you know what I am doing to help myself. I am not one for a diet either, I always come up with "there is always tomorrow", the only problem is the tomorrow comes and then goes and I am still at point 1. Do not think of diets just change the type of food you have in your house and cut down on the portions. I have even went as far and planning a menu and sticking to it. There is Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig as well. There will always be excuses but until you get to the point where you really want to change, temptations will win. My mom has told me that so many time. You will change when you are ready to change. I hope that this helps. You can also find healthy menus on the internet as well.

Try walking everyday maybe even twice a day. Once in the mornings and then once in the afternoons. And start drinking a LOT of water it helps to like clean out the bad junk, If you can’t stand the thought of drinking straight water like me. Get some of those powdered things to put in your water. they have like Kool-aid, crystal light, and even like tea and stuff. And if you can get some multivitamins it will help a lot to, if you take them everyday they will help to cut back your appetite. If you do that then you really do not have to change the way you eat. the biggest thing is the walking part ^^ hope i helped.

http://www.mypyramid.gov/ – There are a lot of links here for advice and getting a personalized plan that fits your life. You may want to talk with your doctor or a counselor also about the "emotional eating" to find a better way. They may recommend hypnotism to help but it is costly and doesn’t work for everyone.
If you have a hard time holding yourself accountable, look into a support group or joining a program that has weekly meetings like Weight Watchers. If you’re paying for the program and get weighed with other people each week, it can help keep yourself in check. Also women only gyms like Curves have personalized diet and fitness programs with a support group.
You definitely need to find something that works for you. Find a program you can stick to and learn to be strict with yourself. Ask yourself – do I eat the ice cream/candy/junk now and feel bad about it later or do I eat something better like fruit/yogurt/fat free pudding?
Hope this helps – it’s a struggle but no one can make it better but you. ;-)
