Any valuable weight loss advice?

I’m vegan, and I eat just fruits and vegetables. Not even grains, except for some popcorn (without butter). I just don’t seem to lose weight!!! As soon as I lose a couple of pounds, I gain them back again! Can someone please explain this phenomenon and give me some good advice?

The faster you lose weight the quicker it comes back after you’ve lost it. Being a vegan you need to make sure you get the vitamins and minerals your body needs, which is difficult.

If you need basic advice regarding weight loss I suggest you take a loot at http://www.GuyDroog.net – it covers a lot of common questions.

Too little calories- you are eating under your BMR, and your body goes into "survival mode" and tries to regain all the lost weight. Please eat over your BMR, which should be about 1200 for adults, and 1400-1600 for teens, but Google a calculator to make sure.

Vegans typically lose "weight" but it comes from muscle loss, not fat loss. Why? because they don’t get in the proper amount of protein to maintain their muscle, let alone gain new muscle.

I would also venture to say that you are severely under eating with your calories.
