How can I maximise my fat loss?

I eat 3 healthy meals and two snacks daily, and I run twice a day, each time for at least 15 minutes. Though I eat healthy and exercise, I am seeing no difference in the amount of fat on my body, especially the stomach area.

How can I maximise my fat loss?
I am 16, about 5 foot 5, and weight about 128lbs, so I am not overweight, I am just trying to get rid of additional stomach fat.

your meals may be healthy, but are they low calorie? youre biggest thing is to figure out your caloric intake to stay at the weight you are at now, then subtract 500 calories from your diet a day. also, it is a common misconception that you should eat 3 big meals a day and snack in between, this is what your real meals should look like (though the servings will be off because i dont know your weight)

say you wake up at 8 am ok

8 am : 15-20 min cardio then a recovery shake.. something to put back electrolytes. also take your multivitamin in the morning

9 am : fruit, dairy, protein ex) egg whites only and milk bananas are higher than most fruits in calories so try berries

11:30 am : snack, this should be a small snack like string cheese or yogurt something like that

2:00 pm : protein veggie dressing so maybe, chicken salad with light dressing

5:00 pm: snack, again something small to curb your hunger it can be a fruit or veggie celery and pb make a good snack and give you a serving of veggie and protein

8:00 pm: carb veggie protein fat ex) you could have like chicken tacos; corn tortillas chicken veggies- also when i say fat you do need some fat in your diet. stay away from saturated fat and trans fat, you need monounsaturated and polyunsaturated those are good fats.

its up to you when you take in your carbs, some people say its better to take them in the morning so you are able to burn the calories through out the day. it really depends on when you do your second workout if youre looking to maximize fat loss, you should exercise 2 times a day cardio in the morning and then specific area in the evening like abs one day upper body the next legs and butt the next.. always switch it up.. dont overdo one area with out giving it time to recover..its like beating a dead horse.

you want to make sure youre taking in sufficient amount of fiber, this will regulate your digestive system.. as gross as it sounds the average person carries an extra 4-8lbs of body weight in stool because they are not eliminating regularly (at least once a day)
be sure to take in foods that are antioxidants.. if you notice you feel sluggish and tired even though youve gotten plenty of sleep (8-10hrs) then chances are youre not gettin the antioxidants you need

some ex of antioxidant drinks:
apple juice
cider
tomato juice
green tea, black tea, plain tea
red wine
and beer.. yuck haha

dried fruit has high levels of antioxidants

some ex of high fiber foods:
whole wheat bread, bagels, pasta
muffins, granola, brown rice
brocolli,corn, beans,carrots,peas

hope i helped a little.. your biggest things right now is needing to figure out your current caloric intake and what it needs to be, its best to track your calories so you know what youre taking in.. taking in too little can also have a reverse effect on your body causing it to go into to starvation mode, thus causing your metabolism to plummet and your body to store fat. and remember 6 or 7 small meals a day and try not to eat after 8 if you go to bed at 10.. there should be a 2 – 2.5 hr window from your last meal and bed time

Belly Fat Advice Loss Needed Please, please Help!?

I’m 15 and over a half, and a guy. I have just a small amount of belly fat, a small amount of fat on my bum, but my main problem is my love handles. I am not overweight by a lot, maybe 10 pounds at the most. Anyways, I play indoor, soccer 3 times a week, so thats my cardio. Anyways, at home, I have a variety of dumbbells, but I am also NOT able to run outside, due to the weather, at all. What are some intense ab and dumbbells workouts that I can do at home, that burns fat, tones me up, and makes me look leaner, fast?!?! Please give me great routines, or specifc links with routines on them, thanks!

workout rountines are different for everyone. you should really look up other questions similar to this && check their answers or rent videos/book from a library. i know its dorky but it works! another thing is when i was still going through puberty (dont say you arent everyone is until about 18-20) i was a little round too. when you finish growing you will become leaner. in the mean time dont overeat && eat lots of vegetables && fruit.

best of luck.

What are some good exercises for fat loss? also what foods to eat?

I just started going on the elliptical at least 30 mins a day. I want to lose at least 15 pounds by April. Is the elliptical good for fat loss? What other workouts are good? Also is there any foods I should eat and avoid? Plus is it okay to workout 6-7 days a week?

Hi. In my opinion the best thing you can do is try to stick to as natural, whole products as possible. Stuff like vegetables, beans, whole-grains, fruit, nuts etc.

For each meal make sure you have a portion of fruit or veg, one of protein and one of complex carbs. The combination of these food-groups will stop you getting too hungry. Add in a couple of healthy snacks like nuts and dried fruit and you have a perfectly balanced diet.

Avoid ready meals, soda and junk food such as crisps, Special K (full of sugar!), chocolate or cakes.

In terms of exercise, try to be active for at least an hour 4 days a week. I wouldn’t recommend doing 6-7. It’s actually better for your body to have a break

Elliptical is a great choice. You can also do jogging, rowing or swimming.

Good luck.

Healthy weight loss isn’t easy, but it is simple. A sound nutrition plan that gives you an abundance of nutrition from real foods (mostly vegetables, but also adequate amounts of protein, healthy fats, fruits, nuts, beans, and whole grains) will optimize hormone levels, while keeping you satisfied as you reduce your calorie intake to discard the excess fat. If you eat something off plan or more calories than you would’ve liked, CHILL! It’s not the end of the world. You want a healthy body for life, right? So pamper yourself by treating your self to health! =D If you adopt that mindset, you’ll be amazed at how quickly the fat just seems to melt from your problem areas.

Another effective strategy is High Intensity Interval Training. One example is warming up for two minutes, going all out for one minute, and repeating 6 more times for a total of just 21 minutes. Do 2-3 times a week for best results. Strength training is also a must. I personally prefer full-body workouts. Squats are one of the best exercises for building shapely legs, with reverse-lunges being a close second.

Best of luck! =D

FAT LOSS ADVICE? ONE MILLION POINTS?

I have had a very tough couple of years and have gained over 70 pounds! I am 5 feet tall and 175 pounds! I’ve started eating right and now I will begin exercising so I can soon see myself at my normal 105. I am in no rush! I’m doing this the HEALTHY way! but I’m curious, I’ve read blogs and such of people that are obese (as I am) that have lost a whole lot of fat in the 2 months alone. Is that possible? I know that the bigger you are, the faster it comes off with the right diet and exercise. So Let’s say, I did about an hour of cardio at home in the morning and a long jog during the day and ate the proper nutrition with plenty of water, could I possibly see a result like that? Like I said I’m in no rush. But if there was a way I could speed it up and still maintain a healthy lifestyle, I would like to know. It wouldn’t be too bad. I’m a female 5 feet tall, 175 pounds…and like 37 bmi! Some good advice please?

The best advice i can give you is, DO NOT pay attention to the hype and follow a balanced diet and exercise daily. The first couple weeks will be very positive and you should lose between 5 and 10 pounds, this loss is due to the water weight, so do not be discouraged if the next several weeks are not as successful. I recommend instead of trying to starve yourself or only eating twice a day, stay on schedule and eat small meals every 3 hours, this is recommended by many and is said to increase metabolism. Find a exercise routine that you are comfortable with and is enjoyable. Good luck and most importantly stay positive…..YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!!

What is a really good weight loss diet program?

I want to get a head start on weight loss for the new year. I don’t have a lot of extra time, so an online program would be best for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I’d recomend yoga, and/or regular aerobic exercise. Along with drinking plenty of water and eating healthy. Because diet food is really bad for you.
