You are not overweight. However, I'm betting that you have some areas that look unsightly to you (stomach, hips, thighs, maybe?)

If you want to lose weight and maintain it afterwards, do not go on any crazy diets. If you don't give your body enough calories, it will start breaking down your muscle mass instead of your fat. Your muscle mass determines how high your metabolism is, and your metabolism is what will make you lose fat and then maintain your weight.

So eat healthily, make sure you're getting enough calories (most people will burn about 2000 a day without doing any exercise) and be active, even if that just means going for a walk every day. Also, don't skip breakfast - eating something before you start your day will kick-start your metabolism.

If I'm right about it just being certain areas of your body that you're not happy with, do some research and put together a workout that will target those areas.

Oh! I almost forgot about the period part. Losing or gaining weight too fast usually throws off your period. If you make it a gradual change it probably won't affect your period much (if at all). However, if it does change, make sure you check with your doctor to make sure that it is just because you're losing weight. There are many things that could cause you to lose your period (besides your weight and being pregnant) and some of them are dangerous.
References :
Here's a post on my blog that pretty much says what I just told you - but if you need help putting together a workout, you can use the "contact me" link on there.

There's a really weird tip that you can use. You don't have to do exercise or take any pill at all. It's pretty amazing. Check Fatburning Furnace
References :
http://tinyurl.com/yhavw2h

That is NOT heavy. Also, if you really work hard you could possibly lose that weight. But you honestly dont need to.
References :
5" 2' and 126 pounds? You sound like a porker.

Just go purge twice a day. You'll be skinny in no time.
