			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m about60 pounds overweight and need some diet/excercise advice that works. No lose weight fast schemes. Only problem is I have osteoarthritis in my lower spine and my back kills me when I do strenuous work. Any suggestions?<br />
<br />Try and cut out calories from you daily intake. Like soda for example, switch it to water. Which can easily cut out 100 calories a day. Or switching from 2% to skim milk.<br />
But don&#8217;t go under 1200 calories a day as going under is not healthy. </p>
<p>Eat foods high in fiber, they can help you feel full so you don&#8217;t eat as much.<br />
Eat slowly, so you give your brain enough time to realize that your full before you over stuff yourself. </p>
<p>Instead of 3 big meals a day cut portions smaller and have maybe 5 small meals a day. (Keeps your metabolism going throughout the day) If you don&#8217;t have time for 5 meals, make sure breakfast is your biggest meal, helps jump start the metabolism, and make sure dinner is the smallest.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Warm weather is just around the corner and would like to lose a few pounds. So what is out there at our local stores (GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc) that i can take to help me increase my weight loss?<br />
<br />Here&#8217;s a few tips that work for me:<br />
I spend a long time in front of a computer screen. Often I just stare at the monitor for up to 15 seconds while a page load or a document gets printed or whatever it is that the computer is doing.<br />
When this is happening I lift my hands up over my head and then bring them down. I keep on doing this until the computer has finished whatever it is doing and it requires some input.,. from me.<br />
I do similar exercises like getting up from the chair and sitting down again. I sometimes might be standing up and might type a few sentences while standing.<br />
Combine this with drinking only water and I am doing something to lose weight. It is not much but doing it all the time it does help in losing weight.<br />
I might swap this sometimes. I might decide that I will not do the arm exercise for  a week but that week I will get off the lift two floor below and walk up the last two floors.<br />
So long as when I go to bed at night I can say that that day I have done something  extra to burn some weight, I am happy.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A little background information: I am about 17 lbs overweight. When I gain weight, it is all in my stomach area. My goal weight loss would be about 30 lbs, to be at a comfortable healthy weight. I am in my off season from the sport I play (volleyball), and I&#8217;d like to achieve my weight loss goal in 2 and a half months.</p>
<p>My question is what are the best cardio workouts to receive the maximum weight loss possible? I plan on walking long distance, and some running when the weather isn&#8217;t 30 and below outside. I have weight and core exercises from volleyball, but even in season they didn&#8217;t do too too much for me. Any good core exercise tips or ideas that have worked for anyone else? I have a realistic time span for this, and I will be very dedicated.</p>
<p>Also, I wasn&#8217;t taught from a young age and even to today to eat vegetables. I am a very picky eater. I plan on eating smaller, healthy portions and snacking on fruit during the day. However, I&#8217;d like to discipline myself to eat better, and to eat vegetables/salad. Anyone have any advice on how to do so?</p>
