			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A little background information: I am about 17 lbs overweight. When I gain weight, it is all in my stomach area. My goal weight loss would be about 30 lbs, to be at a comfortable healthy weight. I am in my off season from the sport I play (volleyball), and I&#8217;d like to achieve my weight loss goal in 2 and a half months.</p>
<p>My question is what are the best cardio workouts to receive the maximum weight loss possible? I plan on walking long distance, and some running when the weather isn&#8217;t 30 and below outside. I have weight and core exercises from volleyball, but even in season they didn&#8217;t do too too much for me. Any good core exercise tips or ideas that have worked for anyone else? I have a realistic time span for this, and I will be very dedicated.</p>
<p>Also, I wasn&#8217;t taught from a young age and even to today to eat vegetables. I am a very picky eater. I plan on eating smaller, healthy portions and snacking on fruit during the day. However, I&#8217;d like to discipline myself to eat better, and to eat vegetables/salad. Anyone have any advice on how to do so?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>i calculated my basal metabolic rate, BMR its called, with the online calculators and formulas they provided, and the approximate number that i got from all the calculations online is around 1300 +/-</p>
<p>That&#8217;s rather low&#8230; and im trying to lose ALOT of weight. Im not overweight, but i would like to be thinner. I was hoping to lose around 5 to 7kg in the shortest time possible. And the fact that i seldom exercise makes the matter worse. I&#8217;ve been able to drop my weight previously, but as soon as i started eating a little bit, i gained back all my weight again. </p>
<p>(SERIOUSLY, IT WAS MAD!!!  Last year holidays, i dropped 4kg after dieting for like, eternity, mostly by eating a tub of 48kcal yoghurt for breakfast, lemon juice dressing salads and fruits for lunch and a 90kcal alpen light granolar bar for dinner, and after that, i went back to eating normally and by &#8216;normally&#8217; i mean eating 3 full meals a day, does not consist of any fried food, sweets, sugary liquids and not much meat, NO milk NO cheese, and reduced my exercise from running 1.2km every alternate day to only cycling once every week, and the devastating fact was that i was gaining 0.5kg everyday.) So all my efforts went down the drain in less than a week. MY GAWD. </p>
<p>so now im trying to diet again, and i am trying to increase my metabolic rate. and the fact that my bmr is low is making me feel helpless. i sleep less than 6 hours a day due to studies and stuff, and therefore have no time to do any form of exercise. </p>
<p>I have to consume less than 1200 kcals aday in order to lose weight at all. i dunno why. or maybe the weight drops too slowly for me to notice any change. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have A LOT of fat on my legs, and cellulite, and when I tell you this I&#8217;m not kidding. I want to lose weight but I&#8217;m trying to figure out what to do so I lose weight on my thighs and calves without gaining muscle. Help?<br />
<br />Ok, cellulite is caused by bad circulation, toxins, dehydration and bad (saturated) fats.. First off&#8230; drink more water.. aim for 2L per day. Drink max one coffee per day, but if you can switch to green tea that&#8217;s alot better. Cinnamon is known to be good for getting rid of cellulite, so add it to as much food as you can.. on stewed apple it&#8217;s really nice, or with brown rice and pure organic maple syrup as a health dessert.</p>
<p>You need to avoid saturated fats, salt and artificial sugar like the plague.. and I mean that!!!  Cut out as many processed (packaged, pre-prepared, frozen) foods as you possibly can from your diet. Don&#8217;t eat pizza, burgers, any of that nonsense. Make fresh pasta sauces.. you can make pesto sauce from scratch.. grated parmesan cheese, basil leaves, garlic, olive oil, ground pepper (don&#8217;t need salt, the cheese is salty enough) and put that onto freshly cooked penne pasta or spaghetti. My point is switch to pure wholesome foods.. fruit and veg, lean meats (not fried!! and avoid red meat its full of saturated fat and unless it&#8217;s really really lean like a very lean young beef steak, then it&#8217;s a recipe for a coronary, let alone cellulite.) For snacks have fruits, nuts, yogurts, drink freshly made fruit and vegetable juices, fruit smoothies.. Look online for recipes, there are numerous different ones to suit all tastes and you can further experiment by yourself.</p>
<p>In terms of exercise and not wanting to gain muscle.. sorry to burst your bubble but here are the cold hard facts: If you diet without exercising you will become flabby.. when you diet your skin loses elasticity (i.e. it becomes less toned).. this is NOT what you want if you have cellulite. There is a big misconception with sooo many women about exercise.. people think that if you work out then sooner or later you are going to turn into a female body builder&#8230; it won&#8217;t happen!!! Those women take steroids, protein shakes, lift seriously heavy weights in the gym very often and even then not all of them can achieve muscles like you see online/ on t.v. Oh and you know Victoria&#8217;s Secret models and what amazing thighs they have&#8230;.?&#8230;. yeah? well I promise you that they work out&#8230; most likely a couple of hours per day in the gym with a trainer doing low weight repetitions as well as swimming or running or both. If you want to get rid of cellulite, aside from changing your diet, you NEED to tone up.. a perfect slim firm thigh has muscle.. You won&#8217;t see any muscles sticking out, but it will be strong! You need to exercise&#8230;. in any case if will take months until you notice a real difference but it WILL happen. Run or swim at a moderate speed (whatever feels comfortable for you but so you still feel like its a work out.. you should feel like you are exerting youself/putting in effort but not to the extent that you are going to collapse). Swim for 20 mins 3 times a week and you will notice an improvement within a few months. Your best option would be to join a gym and get a personal trainer but not everyone can afford this of course.. some gyms will give you a free session with a trainer when you join and they will make a program for you and you can just do that when you go to the gym and don&#8217;t need regular sessions with the trainer. See what is available. I have been running and swimming regularly for 5 years and i don&#8217;t have cellulite but i am also not muscular.. if I did not exercise I am SURE that I would be flabby. Exercise makes all the difference, you just have to decide whether for you firm thighs are worth the effort of sticking to an exercise plan (no excuses!).. .</p>

I&#8217;m taking diet pills already, and I&#8217;m losing weight.<br />
But I&#8217;m not keeping it off.<br />
Last week I weighed 150, three days ago, I weighed 142, and yesterday, I weighed 146.<br />
So here are my questions.<br />
What are the fastest weight loss exercises that you know of? What should I burn (calorie wise) per day?<br />
Is it better to eat a big(healthy) breakfast, a medium (healthy) lunch, and a small (healthy) dinner, or small (healthy) snacks throughout the day?<br />
My BMI is 23.1, so I&#8217;m in the 85th percentile.<br />
That&#8217;s on the verge of being overweight.<br />
It&#8217;s desirable/moderate weight, but I want to be lean.<br />
<br />To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.</p>
<p>As far as a &quot;healthy weight&quot;, that&#8217;s what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc)&#8230;. but most people will say what the &quot;average&quot; is according to different opinions.</p>
<p>As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight&#8230; not that you &quot;should be X pounds&quot;, but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that</p>
<p>That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more</p>
