Need good weight loss advice.?

Hello,

I am your average teenage male, with a slight weight problem. I’ve been told that I’m "Pregnant" so it seems to me that its starting to be a problem (the weight). I have some health issues that I believe to be due to the weight. These include: Back aches, Knee problems, and Asama.
I would like to be leaner and more athletic without having to go to the gym. I do not have very many gym equipment, and the machines that I do have are very outdated.
I want to look good for the Eighth grade dance (which is in a year), but would enjoy to look better within a few months.

These are my statistics:
Age:………13
Weight:….188
Height:……65"
Abdomen:.39"
Fat %: …..36
Water %:..45.5

Thanks for the advice!

You stated that you have a slight weight problem. First to lose weight and keep it off, you have to lose it as slow as you gained it. There are a few simple things you can do that will drastically help. Don’t use the word DIET it’s tells your brain you are going to go without something. Cut out fatty foods that most people eat every day such as potato chips, you can replace these with Sun Chips that are baked not fried. Cut out french fries, hamburgers, bacon, sausage, candy bars are limited to about 2 a month, limit bread products to 2 slices a day or comparison. Cut out as much soft drinks as you can. Limit it to one a week. I hate water, but drink it, it will help your body flush out fat that you don’t use or need. Eat smaller portions of pasta products. Do other things to keep busy. I have bad knees and a spine disorder and also have asthma, a heart condition and I’m diabetic. I mow the lawn 10 minutes, break 15 minutes. I don’t like it, but its good for me. I volunteer at the local Salvation Army, the more you move, the better. Computer, video games, and TV will only help add the problem, limit those and replace them with more active movement. I like construction, so I work on my house and build small things. Find things that peak your interest. My doctor recommended because of my knees to ride a bike instead of walking. Find foods that are simple rather than complex. Back to basics, low in processed foods…eat fresh fruit, veggies, when hungry and it’s not time for a meal. Bran cereal is good with keeping your system going too. Good luck! I was 350 lbs three years ago, and I’m now 275 lbs. Iose about 2 lbs a month on a regular basis, and I’m never hungry. I know it’s slow, but I’ve not gained anything back. It’s become a way of life and in 3 years I will be at my weight goal, no suffering.
