Fat loss advice…?

I need to lose 22 pounds of body fat, fast.
I’m taking diet pills already, and I’m losing weight.
But I’m not keeping it off.
Last week I weighed 150, three days ago, I weighed 142, and yesterday, I weighed 146.
So here are my questions.
What are the fastest weight loss exercises that you know of? What should I burn (calorie wise) per day?
Is it better to eat a big(healthy) breakfast, a medium (healthy) lunch, and a small (healthy) dinner, or small (healthy) snacks throughout the day?
My BMI is 23.1, so I’m in the 85th percentile.
That’s on the verge of being overweight.
It’s desirable/moderate weight, but I want to be lean.

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.

As far as a "healthy weight", that’s what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc)…. but most people will say what the "average" is according to different opinions.

As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight… not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that

That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more

    You should eat a big healthy breakfast but never eat until you are so full you feel weighed down. After a healthy breakfast you should eat whenever you are hungry throughout the day. Make sure you do eat when you are hungry. To lose fat you should cut out all fat except olive oil, fish oil and there may be some other oils. Your body needs these fats and they will help you feel full and satisfied. I think diet pills are a scam. Exercise is a must. I love yoga, especially before breakfast as you should do it on an empty stomach and it focuses you on your body throughout the day.

    Diet pill give temporary results!!! I tried them when I was first getting into fitness.

    Here’s some personal advice. Don’t try to rush it or you will make poor choices because you are taking the easy way out. Diet & fitness is difficult at first but not Rocket Science. I struggled for a year before I got it right but you don’t have to.

    Fade diets and diet pills will never keep it off. Its a life style change not just a temp change.

    You do not need to each standard issued meals. So long as you eat six small meals a day you are fine. Spread them out a few hours apart. Breakfest can just be yogert and a piece of fruit, lunch low carb toritall with grilled chicken, avacado, tomato and cilantro, Dinner-Grilled salmon and broccoli, Snacks can be carrots, raisns, bowl of good high fiber cereal and so on.

    Helpful Tips for weight loss:

    1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch

    Keep to a 1,200 food intake

    Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) …and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn’t seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.

    I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127

    2) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body’s principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.

    Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don’t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.

    Sweetheart…it took time to gain the weight, it will take time to lose the weight. Crash diets don’t give you the results you wish to achieve. Healthy eatting needs to become a lifestyle, not a quick fix. There are wonderful articles, support and track available at Sparkpeople. I painlessly lost 10 lbs just by tracking what I ate. Walking is an easy form of exercise that requires no special equipment or gym fees. Any activity that causes you to sweat is called exercise. Use portion control when eatting. Try a smaller plate instead of the biggest dinner plate you own. We have become a world of supersize meal eatters. Drink 8 glasses of water a day to help hydrate you and flush out your system.
