I want to lose weight but I am not all about that diet pill stuff. I tried weight watchers before but I was really busy with getting things ready for my wedding that it was the last thing on my mind to eat right.
If I do weight watchers and run/gym how much weight do you think I would lose in about 2 weeks?
everyone body is different. Remember too if you decide to exercise you have to use your activity points calculator to determine how many extra points you get for the day. But everyone's body loses weight at a different rate. Someone who jogs everyday while on weight watchers for two weeks could lose 5 lbs where are someone else could lose only 2. A bunch of different things factor into this including what you are eating everyday, how much activity you are doing, how fast your body reacts to exercise (some people need to exercise only days before seeing results while others need to exercise a month before seeing results) how fast your body gains muscle mass, how much water you are drinking, how much water your body retains after exercise and so on and do fourth so there is no way of knowing how much you will lose but cardio IS the best form of exercise for burning fat. Just make sure you are at least doing moderate exercising meaning you are pushing yourself but not too hard (just hard enough that you start to sweat after about 10-15 minutes) and doing at least a half hour of exercise each time.

I am 5' 2" and 10stone 4lb, and I cannot lose this belly that I have! I have changed my diet and have increased my exercise, but to little avail. I came across the Fat Loss for Idiots diet and was wondering if this would work for me? Up to now I have only read about success stories for people who have more weight to lose than I do. Please advise!
Thanx
yaa……i will helps u.im also using it…….
The 9 pounds every 11 days fat loss promise - Fat Loss 4 Idiots promises that you will lose 9 pounds every 11 days of use. I don't like this promise because every person is different and loses weight at a different pace. Sure, some people do lose 9 pounds every 11 days, others do even better. But most of the people lose an average of 6 pounds every 11 days. This is still a great weight loss rate, so I think Fatloss4idiots could've done without the 9 pounds promise.

My wife needs to lose about 30 pounds and actually I could lose a few pounds myself. I think she looks find the way she is, but she is determined to lose those extra pounds. She heard about a diet called fat loss for idiots on a diet review blog.
If anyone has had good results following fat loss 4 idiots diet?
Is this diet really easy to follow and stick to it?
Did you gain the weight back fast, after you stopped using the diet?
I'm actually currently on this diet and have to say that I've never had success anywhere else. I've lost 7lb in the last 11 days and to be fair, I feel so much better.
Even though the website might make it feel that it's just another diet that won't work, I do suggest you give it a try. Even though, I did buy the diet generator and handbook when it was a lot cheaper, it's worth the investment.
Plus, the food you eat isn't exactly terrible, you get to eat the foods YOU like. Which is fantastic and exercise is pretty much optional. The main thing is that you eat 4 meals a day, and that's not too hard. After that, you get 3 days of eating whatever you want… which is bliss. So, I'm going to keep on with this diet regime.
Anyway, it's really up to you, I found with the large amount I have to lose that the diet is doing wonders:)

Does the fat loss 4 idiots work ? Any one know?
I stuck relegiously to it for 3 months and lose 7 pound. I have quite a lot to lose so i thought i would lose more. The main problem was i ended up with too much uric acid in the blood and now my joints are painful but im going to try fast tract hypnosis. Keeping my fingers crossed. My friend also tried it and only lost 3 pound in a month.
edit this is something i read
I should know. My name is Shannon and I'm an idiot.
I bought the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program a few years ago (Actually, I think it was called "Weight Loss 4 Idiots" then). I was tempted by their claim that I could "lose 9 pounds in 11 days" by "eating foods that I choose". I was excited to fork over my money and begin my journey to weight loss success.
What happened? Well, when I tried to select my foods, I was presented with a list of food choices, many of which I didn't like. Despite what they'll tell you in the advertisements, this is a high protein low carb diet. And I'm a vegetarian. There were many "fake meat" products to choose from, but I don't like those either.
Still, I thought that I might be able to substitute foods that I did like and somehow apply the principle of the diet. I didn't like what I saw. Other review sites will tell you that you get to eat "4 square meals a day" on the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program. But this isn't entirely true. You do get to eat four meals a day. However, the "meals" consist of one food only. How much of any one food can a person eat? Not much.
What about all the additional information that comes with the program? There was not a single piece of information on that site which I hadn't already heard from a free source.
Fat Loss 4 Idiots only works because it is a very low calorie, low carb diet. However, it's just that. A diet. It doesn't teach you how to properly eat so that you don't gain weight when you go off the diet. It's likely that this is just a temporary solution.
The weight will come back.
The reality is that losing weight permanently isn't easy and it doesn't happen overnight. I know that's not a popular sentiment, but it's the truth. You are much better off making healthy changes over time that become a permanent part of your life.
Shannon Tani is a former fattie, who weighed over 220lbs. She has currently lost over 70lbs. One day she realized that people would rather hear dieting advice from someone who's "been there, done that" than a boring old doctor who's never been fat a day in his life. So she started the website Better Off Fat to share her experiences and ideas.

I would like to know specifically what supplements to help aid weight loss for Bipolar people on weight gaining Bipolar medication (which slows the metabolism and increases appetitite)
I already know of Green Tea to speed up metabolism and suppress appetite and Acai Berry DOES help you look a bit thinner in the face and relieves minimal bloat if taken moderately.
What other supplements are safe?
I want as much help as i can get!
Thanks!
I understand the problem with meds and weight gain. Going through it myself. However, I would not risk any supplement etc. This is because they may have something in them that could trigger a manic state. Supplements are not required to be tested by the FDA and we don't always know what is in these supplements and what might trigger an exacerbation in our symptoms. I do agree with the other poster about exercise. It is sooooo hard to do. I seriously have problems with staying motivated but my 15 year old (also bipolar) excercises everyday and she actually weighs less AND she eats whatever she wants. She just gets a lot of excercise and it works. Hope that helps.

People who need to lose weight are constantly searching for diets that work. It’s not really hard to find weight loss plans that are effective, but finding a program a person can stick to is the problem. The 46.8 billion dollar diet industry (as of 2005) depends not on people staying healthy and staying thin, but rather on people taking an endless roller coaster ride between health and fat. Because repeat business brings in the cash, the focus is surely on the up and down reality of poor living followed by short stints of diets and health programs.
Here’s a diet that sheds pounds. Combine limiting caloric intake to 1000 calories each day with at least 30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week. It’s a given you’ll drop pounds. Only two small problems. The first is that cravings will ruin the diet. 1000 calories and all that exercise will eventually lead to ruinous hunger and binge eating. First it’s a potato chip or piece of cake, then it’s an extra hot dog and the whole bag of chips, and then the diet is ended. #2 the diet eventually ends. You soon go back to eating the identical old way. Next spring, or next fancy dress occasion, or next vacation, or simply the next time you glance at a mirror on the way out of the gym it will be once again be diet time.
The best diet is a permanent diet. A lifestyle change to healthier eating habits and more exercise is the best way to lose weight and keep off the weight. The Sonoma Diet, created by Connie Guttersen, focuses on ten “power foods.” The power foods are almonds, bell peppers, blueberries, broccoli, grapes, olive oil, spinach, strawberries, tomatoes and whole grains, eaten in conjunction with the cuisine of the Sonoma country, which includes Asian, Latin American and Mediterranean influences. The diet includes a wide variety of real, and enjoyable foods so it’s easy to stay on it .
Want a diet that works for healthy weight loss? Move your mind from a short term diet to permanent eating habits that go along with an overall healthy and active lifestyle. That’s the way to not only lose the weight, but to avoid gaining it in the first place.

What are some of your most succesfull weight loss tips?? I have my few that I live by, but I am looking for some tips on cutting down. Please only share different/ unique tips.
I know about all the common ones…. lots of water lots of rest six small meals etc.
thank you so much in advance!
Hi CollegeGirl
In my opinion, no weight loss tips are truly successful on their own. Lots of water is not necessarily a good way, because how much water a person needs depends on the BMI of the person. 6 small meals maybe hard at times, especially when you are stuck at school or office and have no chance to eat, and then you need to eat more when you have the chance. Well, dieting is a good way to lose weight, but then it is hard to stick to a diet. For example, something like this:
Breakfast:
2 egg, low fat Cheddar cheese omelette - 320 calories
2 slices wholemeal toast with thin smear butter - 200 calories
Large slice melon - 47 calories
Lunch:
Spicy Turkey Salad recipe - 304 calories
Snack:
Muesli or honey nut Health Bar “Sainsbury” - 180 calories
Dinner:
Baked potato with 100g “Heinz” baked beans &/or Cottage cheese if desired - 300 - 400 calories (350 average)
Large helping salad fruits &/or vegetables - 100 calories
Another weight loss tip is to do interval and turbulence exercise.
Turbulence Training is a fresh plan that requires finishing three 45-minute exercise sessions each week with marginal equipment. It is an increasingly trend-setting fitness plan with the intention of helping you in the reduction of weight.
Interval training is the fitness world’s equivalent of a visit to the in-laws. The shorter and more intense the visit, the better. An interval is a short period of exercise performed at a given intensity for a specific length of time. Each interval is separated from the next interval by a short rest or lighter activity. There are no strict rules on how long or how intense the interval must be, however, changing the interval length or intensity changes the way your body works and responds to exercise.
But people have a short willpower. It may be strong at the beginning but will eventually fade as time goes on- as they realize that going on a diet is not actually as easy as they think it is. Of course, the strength of willpower differs from one person to another. This is the reason why there are people who can actually maintain a diet and exercise program for 1 year and there are people who can only maintain it for few months. Nonetheless, willpower is a big factor that dictates someone whether to continue losing weight or not.
And in my opinion, besides sticking to a diet and exercise plan, it is the ultimate willpower to stop yourself from overeating that is the #1 tip to lose weight. But that is the hardest part if you are accustomed to eating lots of food even though your body does not need it. It is partly because of the delicious taste of the food causing a craving for more. There are certain ways to fight this craving ad I found one that maybe helpful. It is a type of chocolate that can actually suppress your appetite. It will can provide Good Energy that promotes a healthy weight by providing energy while burning fat. And it helps suppress cravings for sugary snacks.
Good luck!
PS: Information on the Special Chocolate that I mentioned can be found on the website in the source box. Recently, they are giving away a one month free trial.
